Insurance Times Awards 2009 - Winner

Provident Insurance has won a prestigious award at the annual Insurance Times Awards ceremony for its submission in the E-Business category (predominantly looking at the innovation of technology to enhance value), based on their Readycover short-term motor cover.

Readycover was highlighted as a finalist back in September when Provident Insurance were notified they had been short-listed in the final six from the initial 81 entries in the category.  They faced tough competition from five leading Insurers; Aviva plc, Brit Insurance, Direct Fleet Insurance Services, Fortis UK Limited and Groupama Insurances. However, Friday saw Provident Insurance crowned WINNERS during the ceremony!

Provident hosted a table at the Awards evening where Chief Information Officer Mike Buck, along with Senior Sales and Marketing Manager Claire Bentley, Senior Distribution Manager Sue Coffey, Senior Distribution Manager Steve Nightingale and Opportunities Manager Martin Wilson were present to join in the celebrations. Mike Buck was delighted to accept the Award on behalf of Provident Insurance.

In July they were short-listed as ‘finalists' in this category at the British Insurance Awards.

In 2009, our Readycover product was nominated as a finalist in the British Insurance Awards for the E-Business category.

Our nomination recognised our Environmental Supply Chain programme where we work with our supplier partners to help them better manage the environmental impacts of their business.
